The Lewis Clark Valley offers the quintessential small-town Main Street times two. With wonderful local eateries, boutiques, tasting rooms, antique shops and specialty stores and so much more – you can’t go wrong carving out some of your vacation time to spend in the downtown areas.

Downtown Lewiston

Fall in love with this charming cultural corridor; a treasure trove of local art, history, museums and education. Feed your inner historian at Nez Perce County Historical Society and Museum or local artists at LCSC Center for Arts and History. The adventurous may opt for a ghost tour with Idaho History Tours and feel the “spirits” of times gone by. Be enchanted by small shops offering unique Nimiipuu gifts including home town favorite Nez Perce Traditions Gift Shop. Upgrade your wardrobe at local boutique Catkin or spend the afternoon sampling gourmet olive oils among the kitchen wares at Ampersand Oil & Vinegar Tap House. Perk up with a visit to the Blue Lantern Coffee Shop or relax and enjoy outstanding regional wines at Vine 46 and Jovinea Cellars. Unwind at Mystic Café with eclectic eats and live music any night of the week. Brava’s / Brock’s Towne Square offers American fare, signature cocktails and events most week nights. End your evening with a shaved ice from local Hawaiian restaurant Imua with flavors reminiscent of the islands. Newberry Square is a unique shopping center in the heart of downtown. Here you will find some of the best Lewiston has to offer under one roof including a bakery, restaurant, gift shops, Idaho souvenirs, and local wine.

Downtown Clarkston

Historic downtown Clarkston is becoming more vibrant and attractive with cultural and dining opportunities. Stroll down 6th Street to dog friendly Parejas Cellars and taste their Spanish varietal wine from the Yakima Valley. Pop into Wasem’s for a slice of homemade pie at their old fashioned soda fountain — make sure to grab some caramel corn for the road! Support the local art scene and spend your afternoon browsing the artisan gifts and artwork at Valley Art Center. After a long day of travel pamper yourself at Eclips Salon and Day Spa. From manicures to a full body hot stone massage they’ll have you feeling refreshed and ready for your next adventure. Sauté on Sixth is the perfect way to end your evening downtown. Their eclectic cocktails and gourmet menu provides a little something to satisfy any palate. For those in need of a night cap or live music, local favorite Hogan’s Pub offers libations well into the night.

Downtown Asotin

Small town charm and friendliness define this community. Spend your afternoon exploring Asotin County Historical Society Museum’s hands-on displays from the region’s pioneer period. Tucked away in the heart of Asotin, Matt’s Grill & Lodge is a local, family-owned restaurant serving up traditional German cuisine and classic American fare.
