Lower Granite Dam

Travel west on Hwy. 12, toward Pomeroy and look for signs to Lower Granite Dam. The Visitor Center is open 8:30 am to 5 pm, Monday through Saturday, and has a fish ladder viewing point where you can see the fish go through the ladder under water. You can view the fish ladder from outside. Guided dam tours are available.

Lewiston Civic Theatre

Housed in the Historic Anne Bollinger Performing Arts Center, originally constructed in 1907 as the Lewiston Methodist Church. The award-winning theatre produces musicals, plays, workshops, Readers Theatre and art exhibits.

LCSC Center for Arts & History

This beautifully restored historic building in downtown Lewiston is Idaho’s second largest exhibition space and is home to Lewiston’s turn-of-the-century Chinese Beuk Aie Temple. The Center features local, regional and nationally-renowned artists. It also hosts readings, lectures and special events.

Lewis & Clark Timeline

You can view beautiful sidewalk etchings depicting the adventures of the Lewis and Clark Expedition.

Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center

There is a historical marker for the October 10, 1805 campsite of the Lewis & Clark Expedition. Nearby are several open-air interpretive displays, including a dug-out canoe. Nez Perce lore is conveyed in Nancy Dreher’s Tsceminicum sculpture. Parking is off the west end of D Street in Lewiston.

Lewis & Clark Discovery Center

The Lewis & Clark Discovery Center was completed in commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. The center is located in Hells Gate State Park.
