Visit the LC Center for Arts & History through November 16 to see the current exhibition by Jason Sievers.
Jason Sievers is a graphic designer, animator, and photographer from Boise, Idaho who currently works as Creative Director at One Stone, a progressive student-led high school and nonprofit organization. As an artist, Jason has produced commissioned work for the City of Boise’s Art in Transit program and the Boise Art Museum. He also collaborates extensively with local musicians on music videos, posters, and album art. His music videos have been featured on Pitchfork.com, Filter, and the Independent Film Channel’s Media Lab. Jason has been recognized for his creative work in the realm of stop motion animation and 360 degree photo and video. He graduated from Lewiston High School in 1992 and Boise State University in 2002 with a B.A. in graphic design.
It still feels like a bit of magic to reveal the kaleidoscopic images that each vessel is hiding. I hope these portals will take you to a unique feeling or memory or will inspire you to look at the world from a different perspective. – Jason Sievers
