First Day Snow Play at Fields Spring State Park
Want to build a snowman? Hike? Go sledding? Choose your own winter wonderland adventure this Jan. 1 at Fields Spring State Park!
Drop in anytime from 10 AM – 2 PM for snacks and hot drinks by the fire. Kids of all ages can make an animal track cast or stamp art to take home. Park staff will help you choose your own self-guided snow adventure, whether it’s a three-mile loop hike to the summit, a short stroll to the Morning Song overlook, or a day at the sledding hill. A Sno-Park Permit is required for winter parking at Fields Spring, available online or at the park ($25 per day, or $50 per season). Meet at the Snowflake Shelter, at the main parking lot near the campground.
