The producer and writer of the historical documentary video, “From Sea to Shining Sea, Katharine Lee Bates and the Story of America the Beautiful,” will be at Lindsay Creek Vineyards on Thursday, September 17, 2206.

Laurence Cotton has produced and helped write numerous documentaries that have been seen nationally on PBS and the “Story of America the Beautiful” will be an exclusive screening in our region.

Cotton will explain this documentary video and answer questions after the screening.

The event is hosted by the Alice Whitman Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and the Nez Perce County Historical Society (NPCHS). The event is a fundraiser for the NPCHS Museum located at 3rd and Capital in historic downtown Lewiston.

Food and drink will be available from Lindsay Creek Vineyards. There will be drawings for an array of fabulous door prizes. Proceeds from the drawings benefit the museum.

Doors open at 5:30pm. Screening is at 6:30pm.
