Step into Radiant Realms, a vibrant new exhibit at the LC Center for Arts & History located in downtown Lewiston, featuring five contemporary artists whose bold and colorful paintings explore landscapes, animals, and human expression through a range of abstract and expressive styles. Heidi Barnett brings organic pointillism to life with acrylic paintings of animals and natural scenes, while Moeckel Studio offers slightly abstract, emotionally charged oil paintings focused on both animals and the human form. Katie Frey captures vivid, realistic landscapes and wildlife in rich acrylic hues, and Leah Yand contributes luminous watercolor landscapes full of movement and mood. Gwyn Pevonka rounds out the group with carved abstract paintings that center on the spirit and form of animals. Together, these artists create a radiant tapestry of color, emotion, and imagination that redefines the natural world.
